AI-Powered Book Recommendations

BookBooth provides an AI-powered Librarian feature to help users discover books based on their interests, moods, preferences, and other search criteria. When you use the Librarian, the text you enter, selected refinement options, and information needed to avoid repeating previously suggested titles may be sent from BookBooth's servers directly to OpenAI for the purpose of generating book recommendations.

BookBooth does not include your name, email address, username, BookBooth user ID, device identifier, or client IP address with the Librarian request sent to OpenAI. BookBooth does not store the text of your Librarian searches or maintain a history of your Librarian prompts. If you choose to save a recommended book to your shelf or otherwise interact with it through BookBooth, that separate activity may be stored as part of your account.

OpenAI processes these requests as a service provider supporting the Librarian feature. OpenAI processes this information on BookBooth's behalf to provide the Librarian feature. OpenAI's processing of this information is governed by the applicable agreements and data-processing terms between BookBooth and OpenAI.

Librarian Usage Information

To enforce BookBooth's daily Librarian search allowances, we maintain limited usage information associated with your BookBooth account. This includes the applicable date and the number of Librarian searches used during that daily period.

BookBooth uses these counters to determine the number of included searches remaining for Free and BookBooth Plus users and to manage purchased additional searches. These usage records do not contain the text of your Librarian searches.

Do not include sensitive personal information in requests to BookBooth's AI recommendation features.
